Formulator is a dynamic and intelligent mathematical equation editor designed for personal computers running Microsoft„¥ Windows. This application allows you to create mathematical equations through simple point-and-click techniques. Equations can be converted into MathML and can be saved in several graphic file formats, ready to be imported into documents. Formulator supports not only import into the MathML format, but also export from this approved standard for math on the World Wide Web.
The following features will be new for Formulator 0.9 users:
¡V A collection of mathematical templates is enlarged greatly and contains now 20 toolbars.
¡V A combination of a font and character style has now a shorter path to deal with due to styles, which are somewhat analogous to text styles in word processing and page layout applications.
¡V Functions of import into and export from the MathML format are improved.
¡V The dictionary of mathematical operators is enlarged greatly and contains now more than 500 entries. Most of them are supported by toolbar commands.
¡V Using OLE, you can insert equations created by Formulator directly into documents created by your word processor (e.g., Microsoft Word).
¡V Drag-and-Drop is supported as an alternative to using the clipboard. You can use it to move or copy data within an application as well as between applications.
¡V Unlimited Undo and Redo commands allow for easier editing of equations.
¡V Standard Print and Print Preview functionality is supported.
